I'm learning (slowly) about the importance of marketing your product. (I am probably one of todays 10,000 around guerrilla marketing)
So last night I hacked together https://purposefulpoop.com/ to see if it could drive some leads for my product.
I'm going to launch the playful tool next monday and use this thread to give a plot synopsis on how it all goes.
Prior to launch though, I'm curious if anyone has any feedback that might make the hook stronger?

✨ Great launch, My Financé team! I’m curious — how do you deal with multiple accounts and unexpected account types (e.g., investments, crypto, or non-standard assets)? And what happens if a connected account has data errors or changes (bank renames/transaction categories shift)?

@sneh_shah there is an option to upload PDF bank statements which may get around obscure account issues. it will be a bit less ergonomic than connection via plaid, so YMMV.
i think a good subsequent step is to support more banks via plaid alternatives.
if accounts have errors and start exploding i currently get a lot alerts! normally it can be fixed by re-syncing the account or perhaps reauthenticating.
part of the tooling is the intention that people will change categories often, so this is first class in the app, you can easily tune / delete / alter categories.
Congrats on the launch! The “no manual data entry + intuitive dashboards” setup looks extremely useful for anyone tired of juggling spreadsheets. I was curious whether features like shared views (for couples/families) or budgeting trend forecasts are planned down the line?
