I can never, ever get it to work. Every time, I get excited and think, "This time, I'll be able to do it," and I subscribe again. But every single time, I just throw my money away. I've used other applications, and I can confidently say this is the worst. It wastes all your tokens just to create a simple leaderboard. Every time, something doesn't work. It just looks like it's doing something, but it can't even handle the simplest tasks. On your second correction request, it goes into a loop and burns through all your tokens. The applications it fails to create have no algorithm, no actual processing. All I needed was for a user to enter a score and for it to generate a leaderboard based on those scores. Either sign-in didn’t work, or sign-up didn’t work—every time, something was broken. It wasted my money and hours of my time. I was really excited about it and even told a lot of people. And I will talk about it again—but this time, I’ll make sure they never use it. It has a long way to go.

This is such a great way to enable people with ideas and little to no coding skills to create. It still definitely helps to know something about programming, just to recognize the mistakes that you or Lovable made and be able to supply proper feedback to fix it. As with all A.I. Lovable sometimes get stuck in a loop of making the same mistake or creating new bugs when fixing other bugs. That, and it sometimes being too hasty with applying solutions makes me really wanna beg the Lovable team for more credits - A rough estimation is that 20-30% of my credits get spend because I have to fix lovable's mistakes. – other than that I love it!

I have a background in computers but have not been able to develop applications entirely on my own. When specific needs arise, I typically hire programmers to help me. However, discovering Lovable has been a game-changer for me. It’s an incredible tool that allows me to add new features as often as my ideas evolve. The applications I’ve built using Lovable have significantly boosted my business performance. While the AI sometimes requires assistance with particularly complex prompts, I’m amazed that 95% of my application is AI-generated, with only 5% requiring manual edits. This may be because some of my requirements are quite specific and difficult to articulate in prompts. The support from Lovable has been outstanding. When I had a few questions at the start, the team responded swiftly and effectively. Their dedication to continually improving both the AI’s efficiency and intelligence is evident and much appreciated. I am deeply grateful to the team behind this product. Lovable truly lives up to its name—it's my "lovable" AI!

[EDIT] The team from Lovable has been in contact and fixed some of the issues. Great support. I'll revisit one last time when getting closer to deploy to see if this all can make it to a live system. Seems like it is heading in an interesting direction but not ready for primetime yet. I paid for a version of this to build out an app concept that I've been thinking about for a while. It gets most of the larger tasks correctly but is tripping up over some details that I would consider trivial, but still important for a functioning/decent looking app. I'm sure my prompting is not perfect but Claude does not seem to have these issues as I've been trying to develop the concept in both to compare. Tried to click on the support section which redirects me to an invalid Discord link (I cannot stand the Discord support thing and have issues with it on other tools as well). I will keep playing but probably let my subscription lapse after this month. I thought there trial was a bit light on credits as I the errors I started running into really picked up after I paid to upgrade. Lesson learned.

I'd really appreciate the opportunity to connect if you shared with me the URL of any of the projects you built so we can see how we can improve. I want to learn more about the specific tasks where you encountered difficulties and the errors you experienced after upgrading. This information will help us prioritize improvements. We're actively working on enhancing our product's performance on both large and small tasks - but as I said, having a more concrete example would be greatly appreciated. So, if you are looking for the most powerful solution that could build a sophisticated app, there are better tools (at the time of this writing) such as Claude Code. BUT, I do not think that is the audience for this service. This is meant for a very quick, easy and respectfully powerful way to deploy a good-looking simple App fast. For that audience I'd give it 5/5. I do drop it to 3/5 though because the staff I have interacted with (and it may be an over-worked factor which the company is still responsible for) came across as a bit thoughtless and inconsiderate when dealing with concerns. That all being said, there is incredible potential with the platform if they can sharpen up!

Coming from a non-developer background, Lovable has really helped me bridge the gap between design and coding. It automatically generates clean UI components that follow solid UX principles, saving me a lot of time when building front-end layouts. I can easily tweak the code and customize the design to fit my projects. It’s like having a smart design assistant that codes with you. Definitely makes frontend development smoother and faster!

Likeable, NOT lovable. The concept is amazing but too many credits are consumed by the app trying to solve problems it created. Addtionaly, it would significanly easier if projects were sepated by chat, similar to GPT. Each project should open a new chat. This would make it a lot clearer to the user (and the lovable bot) what project the instructions are for. Often, instructions meant for project A get inserted to project B.

"Lovable. Love it!" Seriously business saver. We've always struggled affording to have a full-time dev to build and maintain a website, so we've pretty much just had a basic site, with not a great deal of functionality. I have good design skills as an artist, but I am not an expert in the website arena, but understand good UI/UX aa a user. Now, I've just built an insane working prototype website for my gallery in 1 week!

Amazing tool. I've been using it a couple of weeks now. Code quality is great, easy to use, github integration makes it very easy to work alongside with VSCode etc. npm inclusion is amazing as you have access to all the npm packages. It's not so loudly shouted about, but its also very capable of creating associated backend code such as Node API services, SQL schemas etc. you just have to ask it to generate them.

What's great

Tried lovable and loved it. Incredibly easy to use, and the outputs are genuinely good. I like that you can toggle to pause deploy and instead focus on providing more context so that the output is more aligned with your vision.

vs Alternatives

Was looking at other website vibecoding options but loveable seemed to have the best value for money, and the best user interface.
