Logseq, at first glance, seems simple and useful. Then you start working with it and realize that it's far more useful than you expected. It's evolving in excellent ways and I really appreciate that it's open source, which shows both foresight for its future and respect for its user community.

Logseq is a strong tool for full Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) functionality. It is stable and I use it daily for my critical meeting notes, research notes, and collection of thoughts and ideas. Each week, the responsive developers are bringing more and more functionality, mostly based on community requests. And most all of the Roam Research videos and instruction apply to Logseq too. Understanding the true value and benefit of a PKM tool was at first unclear, but Logseq works so closely to Roam that you can learn about how Roam does it and apply it to Logseq too (since there are not currently alot of Logseq videos yet). But the real benefit of Logseq for me is: 1) My notes are mine and reside with me always. No remote server that locks in my data that requires constant exports. 2) Open source allowing community additions, especially with the new plug-in support. 3) Very responsive, open, and helpful developers and surrounding community.

Firstly I confess I am a very heavy Roam user but have followed the early developments of Logseq and have been impressed by the development. I like the Roam-like functionality with the privacy of local files that you get with Obsidian, but Obsidian in my view has a bit more friction in getting to grip with the basics. Personally looking forward to the next developments, integration with Zotero would be great for me, please
