A group of travel junkies have pooled resources and are preparing to purchase a private island to develop for ecotourism. It's a dream I think many people have had but these guys are actually making it happen allowing people to purchase a share of the island

@ignacio_guli_moreno Yes, but Islandia is our working title only. We will approach our shareholders for ideas of names and hold a vote between shareholders once we have selected an island. We established a working title only as we expect that the location and features of the island may inspire some creative naming ideas!

@stephen_rice We have business plans for all of our island short list, so this will largely depend on the island we select. We plan to have something basic up and running ASAP so we can generate some revenue immediately (e.g. glamping) with something better to follow.

@john_mcgovern We are looking for islands based on a number of factors, and our favourite continents are ones where we can use the island for as much of the year as possible and where the legal infrastructure doesn't present us with many risks in land ownership.
