@sacbookreviewer The first time I saw Product Hunt, I just thought it was another betalist. Difficult to predict how things we pan out when we can only look back.
I like that this website provides visuals and efficiency in browsing published start-ups. My question is: Based on what criteria does a start-up get published on this site?
@erikfinman@mbesto Just goes to show how similar startups can exist but not gain traction. In my opinion, the up-voting and user submission process here on PH really made this place a winner. PH is to Launching Next what Facebook is to Myspace.
@erikfinman@mbesto Startups are all about gaining the most users and/or customers. When you compare two similar startups I would definitely consider them competitors to some degree. In this case, Product Hunt came on top with the incredible community of users and the great user experience they provide via this site.
