I've tried a bunch of "No Code" automation tools, but this one is hands down the best. I ended up using it for my Content Automation System, and it's been a game-changer. The ability to write your own code has been a huge time-saver and has allowed me to set up scenarios exactly how I want them. It's cost effective if you are building basic automations. That being said, LateNode doesn't let you make raw API calls without being forced into block-style “toy” selectors. We are moving away from LateNode because its rigid block-style expression system and limited JavaScript node capabilities made it unnecessarily difficult to handle dynamic data, especially for assembling large AI prompts from modular components. The lack of proper array/object manipulation, poor documentation, inconsistent data passing between nodes, and frustrating debugging experience ultimately slowed us down and forced awkward workarounds. It simply isn't suited for complex AI workflows where flexibility and control are essential.

Latenode and their support team have been great and responsive in providing my team with support in creating a workflow where our data from Google Sheet Form Submissions will take the users that submitted the form and then use our OpenAI API to create newsletters to send to them. Their price point and use of credits through execution time allows it to be a cheaper alternative to Zapier or Make. Drag and drop modules give it a familiar experience when compared to its competitors and get the same job done at a cost-effective price.

I honestly love how Latenode has approached automation. The "low-code" approach is perfect for my needs. I'm not a developer, but with the help of their AI helper I can get cool stuff done very quickly! For most of the time, the beautiful drag-n-drop canvas gets the job done very efficiently. I also love their method of creating your own "connectors" using nodules. Makes it very easy to re-use custom connection nodes in other scenarios. The pricing also makes a lot of sense if you're doing "less" but "longer running" processes.
