I've tried a bunch of "No Code" automation tools, but this one is hands down the best. I ended up using it for my Content Automation System, and it's been a game-changer. The ability to write your own code has been a huge time-saver and has allowed me to set up scenarios exactly how I want them. It's cost effective if you are building basic automations.
That being said, LateNode doesn't let you make raw API calls without being forced into block-style βtoyβ selectors. We are moving away from LateNode because its rigid block-style expression system and limited JavaScript node capabilities made it unnecessarily difficult to handle dynamic data, especially for assembling large AI prompts from modular components. The lack of proper array/object manipulation, poor documentation, inconsistent data passing between nodes, and frustrating debugging experience ultimately slowed us down and forced awkward workarounds. It simply isn't suited for complex AI workflows where flexibility and control are essential.
