Kelviq is the complete monetization platform for SaaS, AI, and digital products. It handles payments, global tax, subscriptions, usage-based billing, digital delivery, license keys, and compliance in one place, for 3.5% + 40¢ per transaction.

Curious how it handles Apple/Google IAP alongside web payments most billing tools are built around web-first and mobile app billing is always an afterthought. Does it support App Store subscriptions?
Kelviq
@imad_elkhafi Right now, Kelviq is focused on web payments and web-based subscriptions. We don't directly support Apple/Google in-app subscriptions yet.
@sachinchoolur Makes sense as a starting point mobile IAP support would be a big differentiator when you get there. Worth keeping on the roadmap.
Kelviq
@imad_elkhafi Sure..
@sachinchoolur Huge congrats on the launch! Managing payments infrastructure across billing, taxes, subscriptions, and compliance can quickly become a nightmare for growing startups, so bringing everything under one platform makes a lot of sense.
I’m currently building with Razorpay, and I’m curious — for teams already deeply integrated with Razorpay, how seamless is the migration process in terms of APIs, subscriptions, customer data, and webhooks?
Kelviq
@achuet_kumar Thanks so much!
Are you mainly focused on the Indian market, or are you planning to sell globally as well?
Would be great if you could send your product details and current setup to hi@kelviq.com.
We'll take a look and suggest the best migration path.
Congrats on the launch! Handling compliance and global tax is definitely becoming a bottleneck.
Why would I switch from competitors charging for 2.9% + 30¢ or 2.7% + $0.30¢ and price scales with volume vs Kelviq 3.5% + 40¢ per transaction?
Kelviq
@sandra_jirongo Hi Sandra, thank you!
The key difference is that 2.9% + 30¢ is usually just payment processing. It does not include the full Merchant of Record layer.
With a payment processor, you still need to handle global tax, VAT/GST, compliance, disputes, chargebacks, invoicing, subscription logic, and billing infrastructure yourself.
And most MoR providers charge around 5% to 10%.
Kelviq's 3.5% + 40¢ includes Merchant of Record, payments, global tax compliance, subscriptions, usage-based billing, entitlements, license keys, digital delivery, and customer portal in one system.
@sachinchoolur thanks for the detailed response, this makes sense on why there's that cost difference
The commission is quite high. How are you better than Stripe? They also provide tax reporting and many other advantages...
Kelviq
@natalia_iankovych Thanks! Totally fair question.
Stripe is great, and we use Stripe under the hood for core payments.
The main difference is that Stripe gives you payment building blocks. If you use Stripe directly, you still need to build and maintain the billing infrastructure around it: subscription state, usage metering, credits, feature access, customer access logic, upgrades, downgrades, plan changes, migrations, and edge cases.
Kelviq packages all of that into one system. On top of that, Kelviq acts as your Merchant of Record, so we also handle global tax, compliance, disputes, and related responsibilities.
If you want Stripe to handle the MoR side, their Managed Payments fee is 3.5% on top of regular processing, fee goes to a minimum of 6.4% + 30¢.
Kelviq gives you the MoR layer plus the billing infrastructure for 3.5% + 40¢ per transaction.
So if you only need payment processing, Stripe is a great choice. If you want payments, MoR, and billing infrastructure handled together, that's where Kelviq helps.
Hi Sachin,
Congratulations on the launch happening today.
I just signed up on the platform and noticed a few things that might be affecting user experience and retention.
First, I didn’t receive any email verification after signing up. That means anyone could potentially use any email address to create an account, which could lead to fake or unverified users on the platform.
Secondly, I also noticed there was no onboarding or welcome email sequence to guide new users on how to properly use the platform or get the best experience from it.
Onboarding emails are usually important because they help users understand the product faster, stay engaged, and increase retention.
Do you currently have an email marketer or retention system in place for user onboarding and lifecycle emails? @sachinchoolur
Kelviq
@adeniran_ibrahim Hey Adeniran,
Thanks for signing up and sharing the feedback!
Yes, we’re aware of this. Email verification and onboarding emails are already on our list, and we’re working on improving the signup and onboarding flow.
Since we’re still early, we’re also doing a lot of hands-on onboarding with users directly, but we definitely want to make the self-serve experience much better over the next few weeks.
Build Check
Hey Sachin! Sounds amazing. Is it an alternative to Stripe? If so, do I need to have a Company to use it?
Kelviq
@german_merlo1 Kelviq is not exactly a Stripe replacement. We use Stripe internally for core payments.
It's more of a Merchant of Record and monetization layer for SaaS, AI, and digital products. We make things like entitlements, usage metering, credits, tax compliance, billing, and payouts easier for you.
And no, you don't need to have a registered company to use Kelviq. You can use it as an individual as well.
3.5% flat pricing is interesting curious how margins scale.
Kelviq
@bruce_warren Yeah, this is a special offer for our early customers.
As volume grows, we'll also have custom pricing for larger customers, but our goal is to keep Kelviq much more accessible than traditional MoR providers.
