Huge thanks to Mozilla and the Firefox community for the incredible work you continue to invest into Firefox. It has been the foundation for our Oasis browser, giving us a mature, battle tested engine to build on while still aligning with our values around user respect and control. There are many powerful capabilities in Firefox that most people never see, yet they are exactly the kinds of features that serious users and organizations need.
Mozilla’s long standing focus on privacy and security made Firefox an easy choice for Oasis. Built in tracking protection and ad blocking, advanced security protections, and the ongoing work around integrated VPN support fit perfectly with our vision of making Oasis a secure refuge on the internet. These are not afterthoughts or add ons, they are first class parts of the Firefox experience, which lets us build on a solid security posture from day one.
From a product and engineering standpoint, building on Firefox was also more straightforward and less resource intensive for our early team than starting from Chromium. Firefox’s architecture, tooling, and documentation gave us a clear path to ship quickly without recreating years of browser engineering effort on our own.
Just as important, Mozilla’s values resonate deeply with us. The work around trustworthy AI, healthy online communities, and a strong commitment to security and privacy reflects the kind of internet we want Oasis to help create. We are grateful for the ecosystem, the community, and the principles behind Firefox, and we are excited to carry that spirit forward as we build Oasis.

FigmaThe collaborative interface design tool
4.9 (1.5K reviews)
Figma deserves a special thank you for helping us bring the visual identity of Oasis to life. Figma’s Dev Mode and MCP have been game changing for translating our designs into a real browser interface that actually matches our vision. UI used to feel finicky and fragile for us, and we often felt like we could never quite get it right in code, no matter how good the mockups looked.
With Figma, that changed. The handoff between design and development became clear, precise, and fast, so our engineers could focus on polish instead of guesswork. Being able to inspect styles, tokens, and components directly, then mirror them in our codebase, is what made it possible for us to apply our unique and carefully crafted aesthetic vision of Oasis across the entire browser interface.
Because of Figma, we were finally able to fully realize the look and feel we had in our heads and on our canvases, and make it the everyday experience of using Oasis.

GitHubHow people build software
5.0 (591 reviews)
It goes without saying. Huge shoutout to GitHub for being the backbone of how we build and ship Oasis. GitHub’s platform lets us host our code and collaborate across time zones and continents as if we were all in the same room. Pull requests, code reviews, and issues are where our product actually takes shape, and the speed at which we can move is directly tied to how well GitHub works for our team.
From continuous integration to protecting our main branches and managing contributions from a distributed group of builders, GitHub quietly handles an enormous amount of complexity so we can focus on the hard problems in front of us. We all know GitHub has become essential infrastructure for modern software, and Oasis is no exception.

SupabaseThe open source Firebase alternative
5.0 (792 reviews)
Big shoutout to the Supabase team for being an essential part of our stack on day one. We chose Supabase as the backbone for our product because it hits the sweet spot between power and practicality. The authentication features are robust, secure, and flexible, which let us implement real world auth flows quickly without sacrificing security or spending weeks on boilerplate. It felt like production grade infrastructure that we could adopt in hours instead of days.
The collaborative interface has also been a huge win for our team. The dashboard makes it easy for engineers, founders, and non technical teammates to explore data, adjust schemas, and understand what is happening in the product. It feels like a database platform designed for modern teams, not just database administrators.
As an early stage company, the generous free tier gave us the breathing room to experiment, iterate, and validate without constantly worrying about cost. At the same time, it never felt like a toy environment. We were comfortable building features that we knew would carry forward as we scale.
Edge Functions have been a game changer for us. Being able to run server side logic close to the user, tightly integrated with our database, simplified our architecture and improved performance. It let us ship features faster with less infrastructure overhead.
Supabase has been the perfect database platform to get up and running quickly while giving us a clear path to scale as our product and user base grow.
