Excited to share our investor guide for founders with everyone!. My hope is that it’s the definitive review system for the startup ecosystem—starting with investors but then moving to companies and products.
The way to gain full access of the reviews (now 117+!) is to contribute to the reviews database by submit three reviews yourself:
--> If you are a founder, you can gain full access to our site by submitting your investor reviews here: https://airtable.com/apptnqkizgs....
--> If you're an investor, you can gain access by submitting three reviews of LPs you've worked with here: https://airtable.com/apptnqkizgs.... We'll use these responses to create another site specifically for LP reviews.
--> If you're an operator or employee, you can gain access by submitting three reviews of companies you've worked at here: https://airtable.com/apptnqkizgs.... We'll use these responses to create another site specifically for company reviews.
We're trying to solve the Yelp problem on these review sites -- where only the lovers/haters submit reviews -- by having everyone submit reviews. That's why we require everyone do so in order to see the reviews!
You can choose whether or not to be anonymous, but we ask that everyone give the reviews with the kindness that they would if they were saying them to people’s faces (we’re trying to help other founders navigate the investor ecosystem, but we’re not trying to needlessly shit talk any investors). We’re also particularly interested in positive reviews — we’re looking to elevate great investors doing great work, so do celebrate the people who’ve added a lot of value to you so other founders can find out who they should work with.

@eriktorenberg Perfect timing as we are about to start fundraising. Was doing this manually yesterday, reaching out to portfolio founders of different funds to get feedback.
A review site where founders can leave anonymous reviews on their experience with investors would be of great value for everyone involved. Just left a review on the airtabe link!
