Oh! Pretty sure I saw that one in the "7 day startup". Good read btw!
Looks like an interesting service. Maybe I'll give it a try on my coming project's website. Kudos @thedannorris
@thedannorris love the execution. Ultra simple and clear value proposition.
What does your long term roadmap look like, where do you see this space going? I know there's Olark and Zopim, curious what the future looks like for these type of services.
Thanks!
@PieterPaul Thanks Pieter. I'm never that good with long term plans. Luke has been working on this for a long term so my priority has been to help get us to launch something that does what it says it does and is well executed and simple (given obvious constraints of there only being 2 of us and us being unfunded).
From now we will just see how people respond to it and listen and observer customers to see how they are using it, what they like and what they need.
This space is really interesting to me. The behaviour in people from even a year or two ago to now with messaging is phenomenal. I used to email my friends now I message them. I used to email staff, now none of my staff have company email. Why do we still email bars and restaurants and every other business when it's such a bad experience? It's a huge opportunity. I really hope we can be part of it.
@thedannorris makes sense, good to stay focused on the core experience rather than fantasize about future features.
For all of us in messaging it's super exciting times indeed. Such a huge shift in communications behaviour that most companies still have to experience.
@mgelgota Thanks Matt. I hope businesses take to it. I'd like it as a consumer.

Helloify is a live chat tool like Olark with team messaging and other useful features. One thing I found exciting is the text messaging integration. With almost 30% of web visitors being on mobile devices, SMS and chat will only get more important.
@osmanify Hey Osman thanks mate. It will be interesting to see how people take to the SMS feature. I'm thinking local businesses will like to have this option to be able to be 'offline' but still have customers use the current methods they use for messaging people.
@thedannorris the SMS feature is an great concept. I feel like as a founder being able to text with potential customers on the site would be really valuable
