What do you think? …

John is a beast and I can't wait to get my hands on this one. This seems to be the perfect topper to a Casper mattress. I hope you all can grasp the gravity of the situation.
John Fiorentino
@danielsing3r Thanks for the hunt Daniel! Hi everyone! Happy to answer any questions you may have! Here is a bit about the blanket: Gravity is a premium-grade, therapeutic weighted blanket that harnesses the power of deep touch stimulation – a proven anxiety treatment – to gently distribute deep pressure across your body. Engineered to be around 10% of your body weight, Gravity helps relax the nervous system by simulating the feeling of being held or hugged. This increases serotonin and melatonin levels and decreases cortisol levels—improving your mood and promoting restful sleep at the same time. All without ever filling a prescription. I've become pretty addicted to mine and I use it a ton while I meditate. Excited to bring this product to everyone else now! Looking forward to hearing what you guys think!

@johnnyfio @danielsing3r sounds very interesting. Are there studies on this?
John Fiorentino
@monadefrawi @danielsing3r yes! quite a few. I included a bunch of links in the kickstarter!
Justin Levy
@johnnyfio if i want to share it with the gf, should i get the lighter version so it's 10% of her weight or go to mine?
John Fiorentino
@itsjlev We designed the blanket to really be optimized for personal comfort. This way the weight is distributed correctly and you can really feel the effects. I'd recommend getting the couples pack so you each have your own sensory deprivation cocoon:)
Bret Prins
I personally just put some kettlebells on my chest before I fall asleep. Feels like I'm being hugged by The Rock.
John Fiorentino
@bret_prins1 TBH can't really compete with that... Dwayne<3

@johnnyfio Few can, cool product guys/gals! Good luck with the Kickstarter.

I love the idea of weighted blankets, but really don't like the fact that you're using plastic pellets for the weight as opposed to something like glass beads. To me, this organic one with glass beads looks great -- is there anything else different about yours I should consider? http://www.sensorygoods.com/20lb... Great job on the marketing and presentation. Lots of folks here seem to be putting you in the same category as Casper, who reinvented the design, marketing, and distribution of mattresses... But I think it's just that you've figured out how to repackage something previously niche for the mainstream.
Dan Rosenshain
@ecwilson On point. Nothing new here, just really good marketing. I'm guessing the plastic pellets is to cut costs and increase the margin.

@ecwilson @goodonestv, this is the only question i'm interested in hearing the answer to. I've looked into weighted blankets in the past and when I saw this I thought it would be bringing some sort of new feature. I don't see that here.

DONE. one of my wildest dreams just came true 👏🏼👏🏼❤️ cannot wait for this!!

I'm a sucker for anything that can help me sleep better - looks cool. How does this handle temperature? It doesn't retain to much heat?

I love a heavy comforter and have always thought how weird it was to enjoy the lead apron they put on you at the dentist when they take X-rays. It's nice and cool and heavy. Gravity seems like it's going to do just that :)
Joshua Pinter
@kristofertm ^ Yes! That lead apron... I tell them to just leave it on me and doze off.

Failed to ship product as promised. No packing slip, no return information included. FAILED to respond to over 20 emails in a 2 month time - NO OTHER WAY TO CONTACT THEM! Finally found a return address thru the USPS and returned product 2 months ago and they still refuse to issue my refund. THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNETHICAL.

Pros:

Absolutely none

Cons:

WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH
