Reviewers largely see GitHub Copilot as a strong coding aid that speeds up routine work, keeps them in flow, and helps them learn unfamiliar languages, frameworks, and patterns. Several say it has improved noticeably over time and works especially well in mature codebases with clear conventions, where it can turn rough intent into useful code quickly. The main caveat is reliability: suggestions can be generic, need refinement, or feel buggy and annoying enough to interrupt work. A few also want better support beyond single-project context or fuller full-stack use.
