@noahkagan FAM seems to be what I hoped Kit would be, both before and after Shopify bought them. Unfortunately, Kit never manifested well, IMHO. Their tool seemed too focused on being a "cool AI bot that interacts with you using natural language," but it failed to deliver on that promise, and the automations it created for us (both ads and emails) never performed very well FAM, on the other hand, looks to be focused, polished, and data-driven. I love that it has a single core objective, and time wasn't wasted on trying to make it "talk to me" but instead on just sending good emails that convert. I'll be putting FAM into play for a couple of shops to see how it performs, and I'm hopeful, optimistic, and excited about what it looks like it can deliver!

@eyalreich I've got FAM installed on my Shopify and it writes and designs the emails for me and uses 3-day attribution on sales. Klaviyo can't write or design your emails for you. And it uses more aggressive metrics (5-7 day attribution, an email open, email opens at any time) so it looks like it's making you more sales than it actually is. It's like comparing Amazon to your local book store. It's not in the same league of software.

@eyalreich @vonwilpert Oh Chris...Klaviyo has its differences. We see the future not as someone who wants to hire a full time email marketer but the software does it all for you.

Looking really good, guys! And I'd have to disagree with the user who said it's highly expensive. I think $20 a month for a product that will automatically take care of your email marketing is more than reasonable. As someone who works in email marketing, I know I charge more than $20 a month myself ;) Congrats on the Product Hunt launch!
