Looks sick! The only thing to note: Why is the duolingo for screentime a good thing? This makes it seem to me at least that you're trying hard to gamify screentime...which is kind of the opposite of what you want, right? Or maybe i misunerstood. Anyway, great work @mert_elqi

It is a great mission, I do have a bit of cognitive dissonance with an Mobile app meant to make you look less at your mobile apps. In that, the effort for choosing that app and doing the games rather than opening Reddit falls on the user anyway. I want to like it, so feel free to share a different perspective!

@jalcantara Hey Jorge, the games and mechanisms serve as interventions. A moment to reflect and refocus. Elqi is not an app you choose but an app that intervenes automatically. It is not the user that needs to make the decision but Elqi will intervene regardless, basically managing your focus for you.

@jalcantara You will get a daily budget per app based on your current usage. Now any time you want to open the app you will have to go through Elqi's interventions. After doing so you can pick your session length but you can not go over your daily budget. And of course in the meantime Elqi tracks your dopamine so you can see the effects of your usage on your brain.

Excellent product and great mission! Love that Elqi does not just stop at blocking phone usage but also provides activities to do, would be great if the activities can be personalized to each user in the future too!

Personally have a 186 day streak now, and it really has helped me to reduce my usage of socials. From using instagram more than an 1.5 hours a day, i have managed to get it to 40 min total per week. I love the breathing exercises that helped me reconsider my choice to use my phone at first, and have now become almost part of my daily routine to get my mind back into reality. Would definitely recommend!
