About
I'm a professor of business analytics and information systems at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where I direct the Center for Ethical Management of Emerging Technologies. I built immemoris because I have aphantasia — I can't visualize anything in my mind — and I wanted a better way to hold onto my life story. But I'm launching it publicly because aphantasia or not, memory is fragmentary for everyone, and the most important fragments are often held by other people. immemoris helps you reconstruct and preserve memories, alone or with the people who were there.
