Countless.dev makes it easy to explore, compare, and calculate costs for every AI model—LLMs, vision models, and more. Sort by price, token limits, or features, and find the perfect match for your use case in seconds.
Hey hunters 👋
I'm Ahmet, a 17-year-old high schooler from Turkey 🇹🇷
AI is evolving fast, and choosing the right model for your project shouldn't be complicated.
That's why I built Countless.dev—a platform where you can compare every AI model, calculate costs, and find the best one for your needs.
The process is simple:
Compare models by price, token limits, or special capabilities like vision.
Use the cost calculator to see exactly how much your use case will cost.
Try the side-by-side comparison to decide which model fits your needs perfectly.
The best part? It's 100% free and open-source. I built this because I know how overwhelming it can be to pick the right AI tool without spending hours digging through documentation.
Initially, I started this as an experiment, but after seeing the value it brings to developers and businesses, I decided to launch it for everyone. A sneak peek I shared on X/Twitter gained 45,000+ views, motivating me to bring it here.
Hope you find it helpful! I'd love to hear your feedback or ideas for improvement.
Happy hunting! 🚀
Ahmet
@ahmet_dedeler this is awesome Ahmet, love seeing young devs solving real problems with open source!!! 🙌 curious how do you keep the model data updated as new ones drop or prices change? super useful tool btw
Hey @ahmet_dedeler, I applaude your grit gegetting this out with just 17!! and if you want, here is some ideas of where to go from here.
There isn't "a best model" and that's the truth since mid 2023. It will depend on the use case and so many other specifics. From cost concerns to level of moderation/censorship, a model breaking benchmarks tells us nothing about its applicability to a given use case.
I would strongly suggest to add a feature where you can set an intent, and your tool could generate prompts for each model (diff structure) and test against a set of defined evals. If you can do that well for model selection and arbitrage, you have a real product in your hands.
Best of luck, and keep building!
@jalcantara thank you!
you're right, the tagline should be "the best model towards your use-case", but wasn't able to fit that in :)
good idea, will look into adding this!
Congrats on the launch. IN today's era, choosing the most suitable AI tools is definitely a must. I suggest you check out products like monica, I think it's a good direction as well.

Congrats!
A very comprehensive database. Thanks to the @ahmetsulekStartup Stash
I hope it keeps getting updated.
what do y'all think of the product? any thoughts/suggestions welcome!

@ahmet_dedeler Fantastic work mate! Really simple and elegant way to compare and search models.
One suggestion I have is to add a filter to limit model search results to those recently released and also by provider. This would help limit the amount of models being displayed all at once on certain categories.
@mkairys Thank you for the suggestion!
You can actually sort by provider, if you click on the "Provider" you'll see a list of the providers.
Good idea, I'll look into adding sorting by recently released models!
