Building Chargeflow Prevent has been a journey driven by countless conversations with merchants—from founders running their business out of a kitchen table to operators at global brands. The frustration was always the same: revenue slipping away to disputes that shouldn’t exist.
Not from hackers. Not from stolen cards. But from something far more common: friendly fraud and refund abuse.

@thisiskp_ Thanks KP 🙏 We actually spent a lot of time brainstorming the right language for this problem. “Digital Shoplifting” kept coming up in conversations with merchants because it captures the emotional hit of being robbed by your own customers. That framing really shaped how we built Prevent, making sure it doesn’t just score a transaction, but actually helps merchants feel like they’re taking control back.
I’ve been once charged back by Ryanair and no matter how hard I tried they didn’t even let me board without paying upfront my chargeback amount. When processing, it felt like they have the entire office for chargebacks, and it looks like this project could replace it ^^
@nikitaeverywhere That’s such a vivid example, airlines like Ryanair probably have full teams just to manage chargebacks. What we’re building with Prevent is meant to give every merchant that same level of protection, but automated. Instead of having to chase disputes with manpower, you can block bad actors before fulfillment and free yourself from the cycle of losses and back-and-forth.
