I’ve worked on BrandGen, so I’ve seen the product closely from the inside.

What stands out to me is the focus on brand consistency. Most AI image tools can generate a nice-looking visual, but the next output often drifts away from the original style. BrandGen tries to solve that by using either a reference image or written guidelines before generation.

The workflow is simple: add brand context, describe what you need, and generate visuals that stay closer to the same colors, tone, and overall direction. It works well for campaign ideas, social posts, product visuals, and quick brand experiments. For me, the strongest part is that it feels more practical for real marketing use, not just random image generation.

What needs improvement

More advanced controls for editing, variations, and style intensity would make the workflow even better. The outputs are already useful, but stronger refinement options would help teams fine-tune assets faster.

The interface is straightforward and the outputs feel immediately usable which makes it especially useful for founders and early stage startups who need speed. Like most AI tools the quality improves with better inputs. Overall it is a solid option for quick ideation and building a strong starting point without heavy resources and unnecessary complexity
