Wish I'd had this years ago for communities I was running. So many dead communities because folks didn't want to use Slack, Discord, or Whatsapp. Such a better way to run communities that don't need to be barraging folks with notifications.
I've been using Booklet for a few weeks now in beta form as part of a small, private community.
It's *nice*. This is a tough space, and success will be hard. But if you want to give your community its own space, if you value thoughtful, human-centric (calm?) design and delightful experiences, and if you don't want to force people to master a complex, arcane tool, then Booklet should be top of your list.
This is really exciting, congratulations @philipithomas! This is a much-needed product, and I could see it being the go-to platform for small communities like ours. Excited to see how it evolves!
How many of us are part of Slack communities that we barely engage?
Creating community is hard. I've looked into a variety of options and I'm most excited about what Booklet has to offer. Elegant, calm, and smart – the app is a welcome space to gauge what conversations to prioritize and makes it easy to engage.
