I've been thinking about this a lot lately, especially working on AINA.
Even a few years ago, job hunting meant tailoring your resume manually and preparing for interviews mostly alone (or with a friend, or sometimes a coach if you were ready to invest).
Now AI is everywhere in the process. Candidates use it to rewrite resumes, practice interviews, and figure out why their applications aren't landing. Recruiters use it to screen resumes, write job descriptions, and even run first-round interviews.

@priyankamandal Hi, Priyanka! Thanks for your comment.
Yes, absolutly!
Because we give feedback, person work with them y next step depend on progress. It's our next goal!
@priyankamandal Great idea! Session history and summaries are already saved, so users can revisit their feedback and see how their answers evolve. A readiness score across multiple sessions is a natural next step for us. We want it to be actionable: showing what has improved, where gaps remain, and what to focus on before the next interview.
The blind-spot framing is the right one, because most people cannot see which stage is actually failing for them. Congrats on launching.
One question, since you sit right next to the part I work on: after the coaching, when someone goes and applies, do you get any signal back about what happened? Interview practice and profile work are the half you can see. The half nobody can see is whether the application reached a human at all, and that is where a lot of "my profile must be bad" self-diagnosis actually comes from.
If AINA could tell someone "your positioning is fine, the applications are dying before a recruiter opens them", that would be a genuinely different kind of coaching.
AINA
@whateverneveranywhere Thanks so much for the great question, Ava!
It depends on where the application happens.
If you apply through AINA, you can see whether your application has been viewed. You can also add a video introduction to make your application more noticeable and give the company a better sense of who you are beyond the CV.
If you apply outside AINA or continue the conversation with a company elsewhere, we don’t have visibility into whether a recruiter actually opened your application or what happened internally.
So the AI Career Coach can help identify what you can improve on your side, from positioning to interviews, but there will always be things outside a candidate’s control. Sometimes a recruiter simply hasn’t reached your CV yet, the process changed internally, or someone forgot to follow up. No AI can fully see what happens inside every hiring team.
That split makes sense, and I think you are right about the part that is genuinely unknowable. What a recruiter did with a CV, or whether they ever got to it, is inside their building.
There is a layer underneath that one which is not unknowable, though, and it is the one I keep finding people conflate with rejection: whether the employer's system accepted the application at all. A required field the form silently dropped. An upload that never attached. A multi-page portal that timed out between step three and step four. That is not recruiter behaviour. That is a receipt, and the employer's own system will hand it over if you ask for it.
That lower half is what we build at AI Applyd (aiapplyd.com). We apply on the employer's own careers page and keep whatever their system returns, so a real rejection is distinguishable from a form that quietly ate the submission.
Where it meets your side: if someone knows their applications landed, then a coach saying "your positioning needs work" is trustworthy advice worth acting on. If they did not land, that same advice sends a person off rewriting a CV nobody read. Knowing which of the two is happening seems like it would sharpen the coaching rather than compete with it.
