Spent a month using Zeko to handle screening for a mid-sized hiring push and the AI video interview module genuinely cut down the time our team spent on first-round calls. The async video interviews worked well for candidates across time zones and the auto-scoring gave us a decent starting filter without requiring manual review of every single clip.
Where it got shaky was in edge cases, candidates with non-native English accents or non-standard backgrounds got flagged inconsistently by Zeko-Screen. It's not a dealbreaker but it meant we still had to spot-check a solid chunk of the filtered-out pool to avoid missing good fits. The UX also takes a bit of getting used to, the module-switching between Source, Screen, and Interview isn't super fluid.
For lean HR teams or startups handling high-volume hiring without a dedicated recruiter, Zeko is genuinely useful. It's not trying to replace human judgment at the offer stage, it just does a decent job clearing the noise at the top of the funnel.
