Meet Joy, your free AI business matchmaker. Turn business goals into an editable brief without knowing what to build. Our early beta is welcoming its first builders. You choose what to share; introductions are coordinated by email. Builder work is scoped and priced directly.

Fair questions. On quality: builders are listed only after they verify ownership of their email and a human reviews the profile, and every introduction goes through us, so we see each approved brief and which builders accept it. There is no paid placement and 10xJoy is free on both sides, so the only thing that moves a builder up the shortlist is fit with the outcomes in the brief. Spam is handled at the door: a business email to start, per-session and per-IP limits on Joy, and bot detection on the endpoint. On privacy: the model (Claude) sees the conversation, the profile Joy builds from it and the public text of your company site, so it does not ask what it can read. The chat stays in our own database and is never shown to builders. They receive the saved brief and your contact email only after you tick consent for the builders you picked, and since this morning the consent step says exactly that.

@curiouskitty hopping in here to just mention I love this question, and it's really going to be a foundational trust factor. Joy has to a be a fair, unbiased, helpful advisor to business owners; and at the same time a fair and equal recommender for builders. Each request will only receive a max of 3 suggested builders, and those recs should be constantly reviewed and improved over time.
In addition to @cristiandeluxe 's spam blocking mechanisms, I usually tend to lean into a more fair and self-governing system that doesn't require a human in the loop to review and approve builder applications. That is going to be a losing battle in a lot of respects and the last job I want to give a human is reviewing hundreds or thousands of applications every day to manually weed out the real and fake builders. I'll be pushing for more positive reinforcement methods similar to how the Product Hunt community feeds the flywheel of creativity and invention in an ultra positive environment. There's always a dark shadow-banned existence out there for bot accounts that try and beat the system, and I could see 10xJoy having similar auto-moderation methods in place to keep the bad actors in check.
The ultimate goal for 10xJoy will be to become a trusted marketplace for positive outcomes in all shapes and sizes across every industry. With that mission, we are going to have a ton of fun building in functionality that keep people coming back, not because we force them, but because 10xJoy truly brings 10x the results compared to anything else they might try to get around the system. More inclusivity, more benefits, maximum value generated, with near-zero time-to-value.
Again... excellent question. So glad you asked it. I'd love to hear how the MVP measures up to your expectations and anywhere we could improve. 😇
What happens if someone starts with one idea and realizes during the conversation that they actually need something else?

@zarnappa_earnoor6478 good question! The end result is an editable brief that you and Joy co-write, so everything is subject to change. Also! Joy loves to recommend surprising solutions and builders to solve your problems. There's also no limit to how many briefs you want to create, so go nuts. :D

@zarnappa_earnoor6478 Adding to Phil: the pivot is cheap by design because what gets shared is the brief, not the chat. Joy re-reads your goal and outcomes after every turn, so when you change direction mid-conversation the next draft follows the latest version, and you can still edit it by hand before anything goes to a builder.
I like the idea of starting with what you want to achieve rather than having to figure out what to build first.

@victor_guichard12 Amen. Desired outcomes FTW. 🙌
10xJoy
@victor_guichard12 That order is deliberate. Joy asks who leads the work and what outcome you want before any word about tech, and it reads the public site behind your business email first so it does not ask what it can find on its own. A tool ("a CRM") only shows up once an outcome ("fewer lost leads") exists to justify it.
The editable brief is a nice touch. I’d definitely want to change a few things before sending it on.

@andrea_zanon12 Ditto! I can't even send a text message these days without needing to fix a typo. 😂
10xJoy
@andrea_zanon12 The brief has its own page where you can edit it as much as you want, and the version a builder receives is the one you approved at consent time. If you keep editing afterwards, the earlier request still points at the version you approved, so nobody gets a draft you have not seen.
Choose what to share stood out to me. Some business problems are better kept private at the start.

@filipe_braiman_carvalho7457 good feedback! A lot of this is going to be trial and error to feel out where Joy can be helpful and not introduce yet another block in the road. The client (and builders) should always have the ability to decide what they want to share or not. Also, it can be quite helpful having a non-biased AI 3rd party mitigating in a secure fashion and help you not send anything too damning. :D

@filipe_braiman_carvalho7457 Your comment turned into a change today: the consent step now says that the chat itself stays private and that only the saved brief (goal, outcomes, skills and your contact email) reaches the builders you tick. Before that the copy just said "shared after consent" and left the scope to the imagination. Thanks for pushing on it.
