Ringly is an AI phone support rep for your Shopify store.
It answers common calls like order status, returns, and product questions using your website, help docs, product info, and store policies.
When a call needs a human, Seth can transfer it or email your team for follow-up.
Keep your current number, fit into your existing workflow, and review recordings and transcripts after every call.
Tried Ringly.io today (on launch day) and the quality of the phone calls surprises me! It really sounds like a human, and it reacts really fast. Will need to deploy it in action to see the full capabilities
👋 Hi Product Hunt community!
As founders, we’re constantly trying to improve the customer experience while keeping our costs low.
A great customer experience needs great customer service, but that’s expensive and time consuming, right⏳?
Most people prefer to talk on the phone, but most businesses can’t afford a human phone agent.
We believe there is a better way to help businesses that only want to reap the benefits of customer service.
Ringly.io enables businesses to create their own AI phone agent that answers all of your customer’s questions.
With Ringly.io,
📲 Businesses can personalize their AI phone agent and give it all the information they need to answer an infinite amount of customer calls.
🫰Businesses save 90% on customer service, while spending the least amount of effort on it.
👩🏼 Customers get an immediate response with the right answer (it can also check order status).
More and more businesses are saving costs while improving customer satisfaction, so why not you?
We’ve been working hard the last months and would love your support for this launch (btw it is our 1st launch on PH!)🥳 We’ll be here all day to answer any questions you have.
P.s. get 10 free call minutes when you sign up at www.ringly.io!
Congrats on the launch Maurizio 🚀
Your launch day is finally here!
Is there any concern about end users feeling unhappy speaking with AI instead of humans? How should we manage any potential backlash?
Don't get me wrong, customer service is a brilliant application of AI ❤️.
@jgani Thank you for your support Jonni! Great question: the absolute majority of people would rather be helped immediately by AI instead of listening to waiting music for 30 minutes. The people that don't want to speak to an AI agent can ask if they can speak to a human, and the AI agent can transfer the call to a human. That way everyone is happy!
Interesting product! I know of some guys in ecom, and one of them said he didn't like doing customer service, so I'll recommend you to him. Good luck with your launch today :)
@maurizioisendoorn This is so great, I suddenly got flashbacks of all the times I had to wait for minutessssss and minutessss to have my issue addressed to the concerned person and it frustrates me now even to think of it. This will be such a relief in the e-commerce industry! Congratulations!
Congratulations on the launch team. This is very helpful for all e-commerce companies mainly during the holiday season or sale period.
Do you have any roadmap to support e-commerce websites built using programming languages instead of content management systems such as woocommerce, Shopify, etc?
@manitejanoone Thanks for your support! Regarding the e-commerce websites built using programming languages, it would require some custom development. But we are going to make that as simple as possible to integrate.
Many Congratulations on the launch @maurizioisendoorn. Solid use case, it's literally an 'n' mass problem for both B2B and B2C scenarios.
Is it only for e-commerce or can it be used in any other domain? For example, Insurance companies may require a lot of customer service, Infact, SaaS products also need a lot of support. Will Ringly support those?
From a psychological perspective, what'll your take be on replacing human agents?
All in all, it's definitely good for the business, no doubts. Hoping to see Ringly grow in leaps and bounds. Once again hearty congratulations on the launch!
@saminsolitude Thanks a lot for your comment! It is applicable to all kinds of industries, but we will build features for e-commerce specifically. So you can just use it as an insurance company and not use the ecom features.
My take on replacing human agents: it can already be done with Ringly, but you first need to tweak the agent to make it perfect.
But for bigger and complex companies it might make more sense to just replace a team of 10 human agents with 1 AI agent and 2 human agents. Ringly will serve as the 'gatekeeper' that answers 80% of the questions, and it transfers the call to the 2 human agents if necessary.

@maurizioisendoorn Thanks for the detailed reply. Your thought process on the whole concept is very well thought of. Once again, many congratulations.
So I'm sure Ringly will work for affiliate stores too without a doubt. I'm exploring a few options on that end.
@maurizioisendoorn congrats on the killer launch! I love this idea for SMBs as lots of people like to call vs live chat.
I am curious about a few things :
1. How do users mitigate for frustrated users - presume the inquiry isn't within the database of info they're trained on - how does that flow typically function?
2. What can you specifically specialize about the voice - presume I am from Canada and I really want my agent to have a Texas accent (as that is where X% of my consumers are from) is that feasible?
Neat either way! Keep crushing it.
@dzaitzow Thanks for your valuable support and questions!
Here are my answers:
1. You can let the AI transfer the call to a human if necessary, or if you don't have humans you can ask the customer to send an email. We'll also be building a feature in where the customer can leave a message in the call itself.
2. Regarding accent, we have a few accents for English: US, UK, and India. We'll be adding more, but we'll prioritise supporting country accents first (like Australia), and then we may look at different states (like Texas).
@maurizioisendoorn Gotcha (I'm not from Texas haha) but I just figured it was a more distinct accent to ask about - really interesting and thanks for the insight!
