Richard here, founder of NooSpan. As a university professor who uses AI a lot, I hit upon a simple, frustrating realization:
AI is a brilliant thinking partner—until the thinking needs structure.
A few months ago, I was exploring new research ideas in empirical finance with ChatGPT. As I drilled deeper, the conversation collapsed into a single, endless scroll of 100+ messages. My thinking was branching across levels and directions, but the tool wasn’t. Every small detour or clarification completely disrupted the main flow. It was mental chaos.
That was my “aha” moment: the problem isn’t the AI’s intelligence: it’s the human‑AI interface. Linear chat flattens thinking and replaces structure with scroll.
I needed a tool that matched how the mind actually works. Since it didn’t exist, I decided to build it myself.
My goal wasn’t to build a “better chat app,” but an AI thinking system—a workspace where you can:

That vision became NooSpan. It took many sleepless nights and weekends—but I stuck with it until it felt right.
NooSpan is for researchers, analysts, writers, students, and anyone who’s felt the limits of doing deep, structured work in a tool designed for simple Q&A.

What impresses me most is its ability to grasp complex logical connections, offer perspective insights.Could it be customized to adapt to different academic disciplines, such as adjusting its reasoning logic and knowledge coverage for subjects like literature analysis or scientific research?
