Figma is one of the best tools for turning product ideas into something the whole team can actually understand.
What I like most is the collaboration layer. Designers, developers, founders, and product people can all look at the same flow, comment on details, and align before implementation starts.
For me, Figma is especially useful for landing pages, product flows, UI exploration, and developer handoff. It reduces a lot of back-and-forth because the visual decisions, spacing, components, and states are easier to discuss in one place.
It is not just a design tool. It becomes a shared product workspace when the team uses it well.
Hi everyone!
Figma actually used Specs to build Specs. One of its engineers documented edge cases, embedded FigJam diagrams, and handed the spec and his teammates' comments to a coding agent. As development progressed, he used MCP to keep the original doc updated.
Now you can drop a .md file onto the Figma canvas, embed actual frames or FigJam diagrams, and pull them back out to edit. Teammates and Figma's agent can work through comments together. Send the spec link to Codex via Figma MCP, and it gets the Markdown and the linked design context.
Of course Figma found a way to make .md files draggable!
