Claude Sonnet 4.6 is the backbone of our entire platform, Humans.Team. Over 85 development sessions, Claude Code (powered by Sonnet) built 90% of our Next.js application — from Supabase database architecture and Row Level Security policies to AI journal integration, real-time notifications, PWA offline support, and a bilingual FR/EN system across 30+ pages.
What sets Sonnet 4.6 apart is its ability to hold deep context across long sessions. It remembers architectural decisions from hours ago, understands our codebase patterns, and writes production-ready TypeScript that rarely needs fixing. The reasoning is exceptional — it debugs complex issues by tracing through multiple files and connections.
We also use Claude Desktop daily for content strategy, press releases, blog articles, and bilingual copywriting. The nuance in both French and English is remarkable.
Personal Finance in Claude lets you connect your bank and card accounts and ask Claude questions about your money in plain language.
Problem: Your money is spread across accounts and statements, and answering a simple question like “where did my money go this month?” usually means exporting data or building a spreadsheet
Solution: Connect your accounts through Plaid, then ask. Claude answers from your balances and transactions, explains unfamiliar financial terms, and can build charts, bill calendars and adjustable dashboards.
What makes it different: It’s built into Claude, so you can ask follow-ups in a normal chat. Per Anthropic, access is read-only and it can’t move, manage or invest your money, and chats in the Personal Finance hub aren’t used to train models.
Key features:
Spending totals by category, compared with prior months
Flags for possible duplicate charges, unexpected fees and bills that have risen over time
Interest cost calculations and a projection of what’s left before payday
Weekly charts, bill calendars and adjustable dashboards
You sign in to your bank through Plaid, and Claude never sees your bank password
Claude can see bank and account names, last four digits, balances, credit limits and up to two years of transactions
You can unlink an account at any time
What it doesn’t do: It doesn’t offer credit cards, loans or savings accounts, show ads or sponsored recommendations, or give investment advice. Anthropic also notes Claude can make mistakes, so check important figures with your bank.
Who it’s for: People who want a plain-language way to understand their spending and bills, without building spreadsheets.
Availability: It’s a beta, rolling out to Pro, Max and Ultra plans in the US.
