I've used beehiiv for a little over a year after a stint using mailchimp I find the beehiiv platform to be user friend with straight forward reporting. I'm unsure if will be continue to be a great tool as it's now a podcast platform but for the time being. I'll continue to use it as an email tool. I've consistently ranked top 30-40% in email open rate and high click through rate. I send my emails 3x a week and readers generally have no issue with signup. I love the built in features that encourage reads to click and engage with the content within the newsletter. Downside, I've driven over 100 subscriptions to other newsletters and beehiiv doesn't appreciate the lift of writers who support community within the platform, it seems that substack is much better at that aspect. Finally the landing page design are outdated and require significant effort to appear halfway decent.

Sold as a stronger product than Substack, but is an immature product beneath the surface and has caused our company a lot of (ongoing) headache. Probably fine for writers just getting started, but in no way is this a replacement for Substack. Table stakes features break often, others don't function correctly, some don't even exist. Since launching our website a week ago it's already been down once. They're integration with Stripe is full of errors and has created a ton of friction with our customers, leading to churn so if you are thinking about monetizing, I would consider other options until beehiiv matures. The product has potential but they need to stop taking on customers until their product and team can adequately support that many. We're stuck on beehiiv now at least for a bit, and it's been frustrating.

As someone who just started a newsletter 10 days ago, beehiiv has been incredibly helpful. The dashboard is well-designed, and the features are well-thought. I really appreciate the polls as they help me know what my readers like. The A/B testing for the titles is super useful. The reports are great. I haven't tested the Magic Links, Referral Program, and Monetization features yet, but I can't wait. Great work beehiiv team!
