Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Param, founder of Agora.

I'm excited to launch the Agora Store Builder, an alternative to Shopify. We help you launch a store with built-in features like domain setup, payments, order tracking, analytics, apps, templates, and more. No coding or effort needed.

After talking to hundreds of merchants, I heard the same thing over and over again: e-commerce stores are expensive to build, tough to manage, and require a lot of customization to be successful. Shopify is a good starting point but requires a lot of work to get your first sales. There's even a whole industry of expensive service providers that help merchants navigate the Shopify ecosystem.

We built the Agora Store Builder to solve this problem and give merchants a single platform to easily build and distribute their store. Users can build, manage, and deploy a custom e-commerce store via AI chat.

Here are some key specs:

  1. The vibe coding interface is powered by V0. We manage previews and deployments with Vercel with a lot of middleware to manage integrations, state, products, checkout, and orders. We provide a Products and Orders database built in. No external data source required to set up. The Products database has a similar structure as Shopify with parent products, variants, and stock management.

  2. Using the same crawlers we've built for our search engine, we've enabled a "Import Shopify store" and "Import WooCommerce store" option from the home page. You can enter any existing e-commerce store and we'll automatically import the product data to save you time switching over to Agora.

  3. We've built a native integration with Stripe to manage in-store payments and merchant payouts. We also have a Zapier app to enable merchants to connect incoming orders to the tools they already use like ShipStation, DHL, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and more.

There's a few things on our immediate roadmap: improve the initial loading speed, introduce more design variety, and add full stack apps that are easy to install (e.g. adding customer reviews to a store).

I'd love your feedback!

Hi everyone!

I'm Ale - Head of Growth at Agora. Thrilled to be back on Product Hunt with our newest release in the Agora ecosystem!

We built the Agora Store Builder around one of the biggest challenges for merchants: distribution.
Our AI builder doesn’t just create a beautiful, fully functional store in minutes - it also helps you get discovered from day one.

Stores built with Agora are natively integrated into Agora’s search engine, giving you instant visibility and a built-in distribution channel from day 0.

We’ve also included native SEO settings that make it effortless to set up your store for success - from meta tags and structured data to LLM discoverability (GEO). And, of course, our sites are optimized for top-tier performance (you can see it live on one of our customer stores).

We’re excited to see the next generation of top brands launch with the Agora Builder - and to keep pushing the e-commerce ecosystem forward

This looks super interesting, how flexible is the AI chat builder for design customization? Can users tweak layouts beyond templates or is it more guided?

Alessandro Colombo

@vik_sh Thank you, Viktor! 🙌 The AI chat builder starts from a range of conversion-optimized templates, but every store is fully customizable through prompts: from layout to style and content structure. It really depends on how specific you get with your instructions. Would love for you to give it a try and share your thoughts!

Although the platform appears promising, most similar platforms encounter a substantial challenge in ensuring the robust security of the applications developed on them. Could you please elaborate on your strategy to address this issue?

Param Jaggi

@marcell_lunczer Great question! One advantage of providing everything needed for a store built-in is that there's less vulnerability with external providers. Point being, we are able to provide our merchants the same level of security that we provide to our customers on the Agora search engine.

Here's a few examples:

  1. Domain management with automatic SSL certificate issuing.

  2. Bot attack prevention on store websites.

  3. Payment and payout integration with a centralized Stripe account with secure API keys. No credit card information is stored on Agora servers and only passed through Stripe.

  4. Regular vulnerability and security scans of our entire infrastructure.

  5. Root code access for Agora Premium customers and the ability to add additional layers on security.

We have a few ideas on our roadmap to give additional visibility to our merchants including providing development logs. Open to any ideas as well.

Excited to try this—how fast is the initial store setup, from zero to live?
