The idea is actually quite simple - I watched my pregnant girlfriend spend hours researching and applying to jobs everyday over the past few months, and she really wanted there to be an app where you could paste any job URL and it automatically researches the job posting for you to create personalized cover letters and resume tips to modify your resume.
So as a coder I made one - it uses advanced browser automation (like Manus), and you get to watch the AI research the role like a human would in realtime. Later on, you can also whip up outreach messages with 1-click to help win referrals.
For anyone interested, you can check it out at --> trylockedin.app and let me know what you think! It's intuitive and there's no complicated setup, so anyone can just paste a job URL and see how it works.

@irfahm_ Though I encountered a bug, looking forward to trying it again soon. Cool website though!

@irfahm_ This is a great idea! I know from personal experience how much time this can save. Congratulations!
Congrats on the launch Irfan! Really like your product slogan! As I understand that LockedIn is to eliminate the most exhausting parts of job searching, deep company research and personalized outreach by offering a transparent, automated engine that crafts tailored application materials and initiates warm referrals. The key differentiator is 'watchable research,' so the initial focus should be on proving that users value seeing the AI's research process and that this perceived transparency translates to a higher willingness to pay and switch from 'black box' competitors. Would you think it the first priority to validate the 'transparency' value proposition or what shall be the first to validate?
Congrats on launch 🙌 One feature I’d love to see: letting @LockedIn not just give tips, but actually help edit the resume live in-app. Would save so much time jumping between tools 😊

@talshyn I have been making a mobile app to allow users to import and editor resumes, applying some templates, and tailor the resume by job descriptor / requirement / responsibility and other context since months ago. But only 30% done, maybe because mine is not a web app and not as simple as the Irfan A's app... Maybe I'll restart it as making a minimum viable product (MVP).

I read somewhere something that goes like "We use AI to apply to jobs, HR uses AI to analyze the job applications, and nobody gets hired".
Curious how you approached the part of making the cover letter sound personalized, human, not AI-generated 👀 Congrats on the launch and good luck growing the product!

I have seen a lot of my peers having had to send out so many applications to so many companies without getting any reply at all, and it is quite a strain both physically and mentally. This will definitely help people reach out to more and get more options.

Congrats!!! I really hope LockedIn can appear sooner. I believe many people who are struggling to find a job will need it.
The thing is that sometimes you tailor your CV in such a way that you are a perfect fit for that job position, but they found a better candidate :D I like this tool :D
