What's the most annoying part of selling tickets to your events?

I've been building ticketing software since 2013 and I launched my own here today - so take this with the appropriate pinch of salt. But I'm genuinely collecting answers, not fishing for upvotes.

The thing that pushed me into building it: every show has seats that never sold, and nobody was working on them. The marketing stops the moment the on-sale starts. Meanwhile the organiser sells a ticket to their own show and the platform keeps a cut of every sale, the buyer's email, and the relationship that came with it.

One thing that genuinely surprised me while researching this: competing on fees looks close to pointless. The DOJ/Live Nation settlement capped service fees at 15%, and SMBs weight growth over cost savings by roughly 50% to 15%. Everyone in this category markets on "lower fees" and I'm not convinced anyone actually switches for it.

So - if you run events, or you've ever put tickets on sale: what's the most annoying part? Not the thing you'd put in a review. The thing that actually wastes your Tuesday.

And if you sell through Eventbrite, DICE or Platinumlist and it's genuinely fine, that's just as useful. "Nothing, it works" is data.
