In my team, we've been using Zenkit for 35 sprints already. We have had many cases where tasks were discussed in Slack but not directly transferred to Zenkit. A lot of information got lost and there was too much friction between both worlds. I am very grateful that Zenchat now aims to solve exactly this problem. Creating tasks from messages and being able to see all messages related to a task feels totally right to me. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

This looks like the the kind of tool we're after, a combination of Slack and Trello it seems? My big question, if I list some actions to be completed in a chat window, are they stored elsewhere on a task management page of some sort, or solely in the chat window at the time they were posted?

@cian_mccarthy Absolutly! you have a task list for every chat. And you can use Zenkit To Do to see all tasks in your agenda etc..

@cian_mccarthy Hi Cian! Yes pretty much Slack + Trello, although if you use the app alone it's more like Slack + Wunderlist. Tasks that are completed are still available in the chat - click the "Done" to view them. If you want to view it in a task management-specific spot, all Zenkit products work together so you could view the chat tasks in our other apps To Do and Base (for Kanban, more advanced to-do lists, mindmaps, etc).

This looks cool, congrats on the launch! Is this meant to replace Slack or rather an additional tool for task-specific discussions?

@einkoenig Hey Jan! Thank you! Yes exactly, it should be able to replace tools like Slack or MS Teams within companies. The idea is that you'll no longer need to use multiple apps, and integrate them (or copy and paste to different apps), you will be able to do it all with Zenchat 😎
