I loved the simple beautiful UI and the split screen but is it safe to use? sorry for asking this question but how can you prove that it is safe.

@muhammad_salman39 @devoresyah The Firefox base only guarantees openness and privacy (to a certain point), security depends purely on the strength of the developers in charge of the project. And in this case it is a one-man company.

You should sign and notarize it for mac os, apple dev account will cost you 100-150$

Mac app(M1) doesn't seem to work for me. I get this error: “Zen Browser” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image.

@anshulg8 That's because they haven't signed the app, you need to run in the terminal xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /path/to.app to remove the quarantine, then it will let you open it

Hello, I have downloaded the Zen.installer.exe file and I have submitted the virustotal program and it reports four possible viruses like the trojan-spy.evo.

I am a bit confused by this: “This license, which costs 100 euros annually, is necessary for official app signing and distribution. Unfortunately, due to limited resources, it is not within the Zen Browser team’s ability to purchase this license at the moment.” The team cannot afford 100 euros a year? Have I not understood this correctly?
