This is perfect for my little nephew :) Just told my sister about it.

This is another prove following the trend that GEN Y and GEN Z is changing the way how content is consumed and produced at the same time. With YouTube for Kids such as also Vine KIds, we are seeing first wave of Teens focused apps - to entertain them. Curios to see other apps sharing teens communication.

Clever! I've seen a few 3rd party providers try to put a layer on top of youtube to provide curated content, but to see youtube themselves do it is fantastic. I wonder if the logical next step is to allow users to generate/publish their own apps that link directly to their channel. (has this been done already?)

For kids who like to watch the same Youtube videos over and over again! There is a free Android app with a simple interface and parental control. Add your favourite Youtube channels, watched videos will be on top. How to add a channel: copy the URL of any video from the channel, paste in the text field, and press the Add button.
