Our Product Hunt launch has officially ended, and YourSitee finished as the #3 Product of the Day.
We started the day with 9 followers and ended it with more than 300. But honestly, the most valuable part was not the ranking. It was reading your feedback, answering your questions, seeing the pages you created, and hearing what would actually make YourSitee better.
Thank you to everyone who upvoted, commented, shared the launch, tested the product, or gave us honest criticism. We read every comment, and many of the ideas shared today are already shaping what we build next.
A special shoutout to @gabe for taking the time to support and upvote our launch. It genuinely meant a lot to see YourSitee there :)
And of course, a huge thank you to my co-founders, @abelherfort and @szalovszky. YourSitee would not exist without the years of work, patience, and care they have put into it.
We have been building this from Hungary as a small, bootstrapped team since 2023. Finishing in the top three alongside so many great products means more to us than I can properly explain...
The launch is over, but this is really only the beginning. Please keep sharing your pages, feedback, bug reports, and ideas with us. We are here, we are listening, and we have a lot more planned.

congrats on #3, going from 9 to 300 followers in a day is huge. curious what your engagement strategy looked like in the days leading up to launch. Did you build up activity/followers beforehand or was most of it launch day momentum?

@samran_rezunate_llm Thank you, Samran! We did build some momentum beforehand through our existing users, Discord community, X, and personal outreach, but most of the Product Hunt growth happened during launch day. We tried to personally reply to every comment, encouraged people to share their pages, and focused on starting real conversations instead of just asking for upvotes. Having an existing community definitely helped, but launch day momentum was still the biggest part of it :)
@andrasczeizel that's really helpful, thanks for breaking it down. Good to know launch day itself carries most of the weight even with prep beforehand.

@andrasczeizel As long as we have multiple platforms, it's definitely needed to aggregate things easily someplace. I'm also impressed to see SO many platforms like Medium and Substack.

Congratulations, @andrasczeizel , #3 as a bootstrapped team building since 2023 is genuinely something to be proud of. The part that stands out to me isn't the ranking, it's that your whole post is about the community and the feedback, not the number. That instinct is probably a big part of why you finished where you did.
Funnily enough I'm in the middle of my own launch right now, so I'm living the exact day you just wrapped, replying to every comment, learning more from the hard questions than the kind ones. Reading a founder come out the other side grateful rather than exhausted is genuinely encouraging. Rooting for what's next for @YourSitee

The ranking was exciting, but the conversations, criticism, and people who took the time to really understand what we are building were easily the most valuable part. My favorite part is making XR experiences accessible without needing a specialized 3d team. Great direction.
Congrats, huge jump. Following this because I'm doing the slow version of what you described right now, forums and community first, hoping it pays off the same way eventually. Curious how long you'd been building the Discord community and doing personal outreach before you actually pulled the trigger on launch day. Trying to figure out if I'm underestimating how much runway that needs.

@raffay_sajjad Thank you, Raffay! The Discord community grew gradually alongside the product throughout beta, so it was not something we created only for launch. For personal outreach, we started properly preparing a few weeks beforehand, but most messages were sent during the final days and on launch day itself.
I would not wait until you have a massive community, but I would give yourself enough runway to build real relationships before asking anyone for support. Even a small group of people who genuinely understand the product is much more valuable than a large audience that only sees the launch link :)
