Womp Alpha - New way to 3D

Wow, this is so great. Looks like a powerful tool set and also my 5 year old boys are playing with it and love it. They had no issues jumping right in and modifying and making stuff. Says a lot about the ease of use and intuitiveness of the product. Like Figma for 3D.

Womp is sooo easy to use! And has the best aesthetic I could imagine! It has taken me a long time to feel less intimidated by traditional 3D modelling software like Blender, and given up various times due to the processing power my laptop cannot handle. But Womp being free and so easy to use, as well as browser-based, has ignited an excitement for 3D art I am excited to explore more of. The materials feature is probably my favourite - anything I build (which I think would be rather boring otherwise) is immediately brought to life with the different, easy-to-apply material options. The community at Womp is also incredible. I love seeing what other people have created and Wompers being able to share their work with so much support is rare! The challenges and competitions also make 3D modelling so much fun amongst a close-knit and very welcoming community. Can't wait to see what Womp continues to do with this product and see more of what people create with it! <3

I have been using Womp 3D for a short time but I have already fallen in love with it, I had almost never done 3d before but I quickly got to grips with the tool, and the community is incredible!!!

Womp 3D is one of those projects where its community is just as paramount to the development as the team of amazing engineers working on the (dare I say fun!) tool. Gabriela and the rest of the team have not only built an engaging and accessible software (both in terms of pricing -free!- and technical requirements, as well as a gentle learning curve), but have made sure to include its users every step of the way, encouraging us to test, play, break and have fun with the tools, all with the aim of making It better. The new tools added and constant fixes are in direct response to users’ feedback, and you can see the passion with every new update. The fact that the alpha is free and unrestricted for all shows the devs have deposited their trust in the community to help them make a better software. This is rather a novelty for me, more used to working with software from monolithic companies too big to listen (and actively respond) to its userbase to push the toolset further. Can’t wait to see where Womp goes in the future! Keep on Womplin’!

Who else sees another "Figma" but for 3D? WOW! I'm excited to try this out!

Love Womp! I've been using it for a couple of months. It brings free-form creativity to 3D modeling that I haven't found in any other software. Amazing for making rounded things and for times you just want to riff without knowing exactly what you're making.
