💡 Bright idea
Big congrats on Wiser's launch, Cansu and the team! Loving 'the finite feed' - such a smart way to keep learning focused yet fun. For a twist, how about a feature that lets users challenge friends to explore a topic together? It could turn learning into a social adventure. Keep up the awesome work!

@shoppietra Thanks you so much! Your suggestion aligns with our vision to make learning a more engaging and communal experience. ⭐️ We're exploring various ways to integrate such interactive and collaborative features into the platform.

@shoppietra Thanks so much Pan - hope you enjoy the recommendations :). It's certainly on the roadmap. On Wiser, you can follow a friend’s list to explore topics together. Soon, you'll also be able to add contributors too ✌️. Challenging friends is a good idea as well :)

Congratulations on your launch! I love the idea, but I have to say the curation needs some work. 80% of the content suggested was in different languages so no use to me. Also one of the suggestions was a youtube video on how to make money selling AI art, which doesn’t seem to fit with the app at all. Best of luck on improving your product, hope all goes well!

@thisisroman Hi Roman - thanks for the feedback. Is your content language set to English? You can check by going to My Library > Settings (the three dots in the upper right corner) > Language. If both App Language and Content Language are set to English only, you should not see content in other languages. It sounds like you've encountered a quite unique mix of content on our platform. While it might seem off the mark at first glance, encountering these unexpected pieces could be our way of breaking out of the "filter bubble." We are on a constant journey to refine our algorithms and ensure the suggestions are more in tune with your preferences, including making sure content on unrelated topics, like the AI art sales video, doesn't slip through unless it’s intended as a delightful surprise. We're doing our best to ensure that encountering these unexpected notes serves to break our users out of the "filter bubble." Our aim is always to deliver content that is both relevant and enriching, so your feedback on the content is incredibly valuable. 🙏🏻

@cansucubukcu Thanks for your detailed response. I’ve looked into my settings and everything is set to English so there is something going wrong here. Excited to see where you will take the product, I’ll keep my eyes out!

@thisisroman I've filed a ticket and the team is looking into resolving the issue. Thanks again for the support. ⭐️

Congratulations on the major updates to the app, Wiser team! The addition of the Quickshare feature and advanced organization tools enhances user convenience and ensures seamless content management. How do you plan to ensure the accuracy and relevance of personalized recommendations, considering the diverse interests and learning goals of users, as well as evolving content trends?
Cansu Çubukçu
@yasec_kowalski Thanks so much! This is a great question. To ensure the accuracy and relevance of personalized recommendations, our approach is twofold. Firstly, the more you engage with the app, the better our algorithm becomes at tailoring recommendations that suit your unique interests and learning objectives. This user-driven refinement process allows our system to adapt to your evolving preferences and the changing content landscape. Secondly, we rely on a pool of human-filtered content to maintain the quality and accuracy of the recommendations. This means that before any content is recommended, it's vetted by knowledgeable individuals to ensure it meets our high standards for relevance and value. Our sophisticated crawlers play a crucial role in continually scanning for new and relevant content across various domains. Appreciate the support!

Congrats on your launch! Gonna try it and replace Headway(maybe?)
Cansu Çubukçu
If you ask me, those are two different use cases, as Wiser doesn't summarize books but only provides those shared by members of the community from apps like Headway. That said, I feel like Wiser and Headway could form a powerful duo as learning tools. Wiser could serve as a discovery platform for books you're interested in, allowing you to then dive into Headway for concise summaries. On Wiser, you'd have a single, integrated library combining book summaries, podcasts, newsletters, and videos. What do you think? 🙂
