Great job
#ProductHuntReview: I just moved to Austin a week ago and VotePlz saved me so much time of trying to figure out where to register to vote. Well done team! Everyone should use this.
Thanks Seth! Glad to hear you liked it :)
I used VotePlz last week to download my absentee ballet since I will be volunteering for GOTV on election day in a swing state! It was super easy!
That's awesome Chris! Thanks for checking out the product :)
Beautiful simple sign up flow, looking forward to using. Initially got an error message on signup last week but was glad to see the message suggest it captured my email and would update me when fixed. Are there plans to use analytics data from the site to optimize the successful registration rate?
Thanks Brian! Ah sorry to hear that -- will follow up shortly to see if the issue you experienced has been fixed. re: optimizing registration rate, Yes absolutely! Lots of A/B testing will be happening :)
Congrats and team! What else do you have upcoming in the pipeline?
thanks Erik! Our goal is to make it easy for you and your friends to vote, which means lots of UX improvements to both the existing flow and for when you want to help a friend register. Actually helped a housemate register in a few minutes while we were in an uber pool. We're releasing a referral leaderboard this week and got a couple of sweet projects coming up soon 😉
Such an unbelievable product with a killer team. Pumped to see how this develops...
Thanks Scott :)
This is awesome and necessary nice job, elimination of the printer step is huge.
A great product often involves good timing and you got me with both. I'm now happily registered, so thank you!
The voting procedure can be daunting for new immigrants and this solves a huge problem for them. Great job !
Interesting decision to use a select for birth year selector. This is a number people know without thinking and can be very far down on that list. What made you decide to go with a select and not a text or number input?
I'm assuming you're on iOS, since that's the native handler for input[type=date] spec. It seems the native date inputs can be confusing, so we're switching to a normal input. Good catch!
