Remote control VLC media player on a computer in your local network.
Uses VLC's HTTP API to mirror VLC's playlist and lets you browse files, save favourite folders, enqueue media and control playback settings.

Hi Product Hunters, I created VLC Remote to control VLC media player from my couch when using it to stream content from my computer to the TV. VLC comes with a built-in web interface, but it isn't that nice to use on a mobile device. Luckily, by enabling the web interface, you can also use its APIs. I also wanted to learn more Flutter, so… The app is ad-free, open source and because it's written with Flutter it should also run on iPhone if you fancy building it yourself.
