Measure your brand’s entire footprint in search. Visably takes search marketing strategy a step further by reviewing the page content behind each of the links on the first page of search for positive brand matches.
Hey Product Hunt,
Chris here, one of the makers of Visably. We started building Visably a year ago to better grapple with how brands interact with customers in search.
Before you ask, this isn’t SEO. We call it “SEV” or Search Engine Visibility. The difference is that SEO only tracks your website in search. However, there are so MANY more potential brand touch points with customers that aren’t your website… media reviews, ecommerce partners, blogs, etc.
Very simply, I wanted to answer the question: “where does my brand exist in search?” Visably finally answers that question, by reviewing all the page content within each organic link on the first page of search.
We also segment the SERP by common marketing channels (Ecommerce, Earned Media, Brand Owned, etc.) to make it easier to extract just the results you want, and see how your brand is performing across transactional results vs. informational results.
A few things Visably Does:
> Measure Your Brand Footprint in Search.
> Visably looks at links AND page content.
> Channel Recognition Technology.
> Novel KPIs for Brand Search Performance.
> Intent-Based Keyword Research.
> Strategic Alignment Across Teams.
> Real Time Data.

Cool! How do you determine “estimated content clicks”?
@nate_moch A good question. Content Clicks is the estimated number of “clicks” or user traffic to a particular link on a Search Results Page over the course of a month.
After Visably identifies all on-page content mentions of your brand within the SERP, we also look at the overall monthly search volume of that keyword and attribute estimated clicks to each link. We look at the average CTR per SERP Feature + page position and then attribute an appropriate percentage of the overall keyword traffic to that result.
We then add up the clicks from all the links that feature your content and provide that total as your “ESTIMATED CONTENT CLICKS”
@alex_papageorge Thanks! We are working on those features. We plan to roll out a PRO version of this software sometime later this year (Q4), that will have more robust campaign building, tracking, and monitoring.

This is a good idea, I like the larger focus on brand over just website ranking. How do you determine Visably score?
@chris_humber Thanks Chris! Visably Score essentially scores the likelihood that a customer will find or “discover” your brand within the Search Results Page if they weren’t explicitly looking for it.
The score is calculated by applying a point structure to the SERP Features based on 1) page position, 2) feature type, and 3) average click-through-rate.
Visably Score is determined by a number of factors including the number of times the content is mentioned, its position within the SERP, the average CTR of that position, and other factors including the presence of an image, etc. So it’s possible that you could have several brand matches at the bottom of the page, but because you missed out on the top performing links (at the top of the page), you score could be quite low.
To illustrate just how skewed user behavior is toward rank position, check out this graphic of average click distribution from Advanced Web Ranking:
