Now the VATValidation supports Swiss UID and includes some improvements using the CLI.

I am pleased to announce the new release of the VATValidation. With this new release, VATValidation supports BZSt, VIES, HMRC and new Swiss UID). The CLI got some improvements to be able to switch between VIES and BZSt. UID is automatically choosen, as soon as an swiss UID is detected (similar to HMRC).
