How competitive was the process to reach this stage??

 Pretty competitive, this round narrowed down from over 2,100 companies nationwide. Making the semi-finals from that pool is the part we're still a little in disbelief about.

what keeps you focused when things get difficult?

 The customers. Every time I want to overthink a roadmap decision, I just remember someone's grandmother is waiting on the other end for that transfer to land. Keeps things simple.

What part of building in fintech has challenged you the most?

 Compliance and regulation, easily. Building fast product is the fun part, building it in a way that's actually regulated and trustworthy takes way more patience.

 Growing our active sender base meaningfully and closing our current funding round. Both matter equally right now.

What keeps you excited about solving this problem every day?

 The scale of it. $800 billion sent by immigrants every year, $60 billion lost to fees - that's not a small niche problem, that's a massive broken system. Fixing even a sliver of that is exciting.

Was there ever a moment when this felt out of reach?

 Honestly, early on, yes. Closed beta with zero paid acquisition felt slow some weeks. But watching real customers come back for their second and third transfer told us the model works that's when it stopped feeling out of reach.

What has been your favourite part of the journey so far?

 Probably reading the first messages from beta customers telling us their family got the money faster than they expected. That's the whole reason we're doing this.
