UpLink - Request documents at scale, and track them like a CRM

Hi hunters & fellow builders: I’m Alex Maher, co-founder of UpLink, along with @alexander_grant1, @brady_ochse, and @nickyarmesch. We are very excited to launch UpLink on Product Hunt today. Special thanks to @mwseibel for hunting us. 🟢 What it is: UpLink is document collection software. It’s primarily used by accountants, auditors, lawyers, and lenders. For example, we help the typical auditor collect up to 10,000 documents from dozens of clients every year, which they used to do through email and excel. 🔵 Why we built it: Alex Grant and I started our careers in Big4, auditing some of the largest companies in the world. The worst part about that job was the back and forth with the client on all the documents we needed to gather, which was done over email while keeping track of status in Excel. It was painful for everyone involved. Big banks and accounting firms have spent millions of dollars developing custom in-house solutions to solve this problem for themselves, and with UpLink, we're making that available to everyone. 🟣How it works: 1. Need lots of documents from clients? Create a project in UpLink and add document requests to specific individual assignees. Use Excel to upload in bulk. 2. Clients get an automated email with a secure link to upload docs 3. You’re notified with each upload and can approve or reject each item. 4.
