Can you tell us a bit about the business model? Does UpCounsel keep the $199/mo retainer and the individual lawyers get their hourly rate?

We would NOT recommend using UpCounsel. Just posted a review of our experience with UpCounsel and highly recommend you read it before ever using "UpCounsel."

They claim to have a "no-hassle guarantee" for refunds, but still haven't refunded our company for sub-par services. If they offer a full refund, we'll repost a new review... until then, beware.
