Why I started next-tools based on it-tools
next-tools started as a personal extension of it-tools.
I’ve been a long-time user of it-tools and really appreciate the idea of having a simple, all-in-one online toolbox for developers.
While using it in daily work, I began experimenting with some changes and improvements that better fit my own needs — such as a more modern UI, deeper multilingual support, and incremental refinements to existing tools.
Over time, this experiment grew into next-tools: a fork focused on modern UI, real i18n across all tools, bug fixes, and continuous evolution with new utilities.
I’m curious to hear from others:
- How do you usually use sites like it-tools?
- Are there any workflows or improvements you’ve personally wanted?
Your input will help guide what next-tools focuses on next.
