Why I built Babble - and what's coming next

by

I'm a solo dad developer. When my daughter said her first word, I scrambled to open my phone's voice recorder — too late, the moment was gone.

That frustration became Babble. It started as a one-tap audio recorder for first words. Then other parents asked for feeding timers, diaper tracking, lullabies. So it grew into a full parenting toolkit.

Dad Mode was personal — every parenting app I tried felt like it was designed for moms only. Dads parent too.

What's coming:

- AI-powered speech milestone tracking

- Multi-child support

- Family sharing so grandparents can listen to recordings

- Widget for quick-record from home screen

Questions I'd love feedback on:

1. What feature would make you actually use a parenting app daily?

2. Do dads feel underserved by current parenting apps?

3. Would you pay for AI that tells you if your baby's speech development is on track?

Free to try for a week. Honest feedback welcome.
