Why I built a local-first Markdown to Podcast tool

I’ve been experimenting with local-first tools recently,

and one pain point kept bothering me.

Most text-to-speech tools:

• Require cloud access

• Need subscriptions

• Don’t fit into developer workflows

So I built a small CLI tool that converts Markdown scripts

into multi-speaker podcast-style audio — fully offline.

It’s open-source and built around a simple idea:

Markdown → Audio, without giving up privacy.
