Why do so many good candidates still get ignored?

A lot of candidates apply to dozens of jobs with resumes that seem fine, but still get little to no response.

We’re building PitchCV around this problem. The gap we keep seeing is usually here:

  • resumes look okay, but don’t match the role clearly

  • ATS filters out weakly aligned applications

  • candidates don’t know what exactly needs to be fixed

Curious what people here think is harder:

  • understanding what’s wrong with the resume

  • or tailoring it for every application
