What would make a web automation toolkit genuinely useful in real developer workflows?

by

I’m building Agent Live Web as an open-source toolkit for real-time web automation, and I’d love to understand what matters most to other builders here.

A lot of automation tools look good in demos, but real workflows usually need much more:

  • reliability on real websites

  • better debugging and visibility

  • repeatable workflows

  • easier setup for developersagent-live-web

For people here who’ve used browser automation or agent workflows:

What usually breaks adoption for you?
Is it setup, reliability, debugging, lack of clear use cases, or something else?

I’d love to hear what would make a tool like this genuinely useful in real work, not just interesting in a demo.
