What finally made you stop doomscrolling? (if anything actually did)
by•
Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about how much time we all spend consuming information vs actually understanding it.
It feels like most apps are optimized to keep us scrolling, not to help us finish and move on.
I’m currently building a product around this exact problem — trying to design a better way to stay informed without falling into endless feeds.
But before going further, I’d really love to hear real experiences:
Have you ever actually managed to stop doomscrolling consistently?
Was it a tool, a habit, or just willpower?
What didn’t work for you?
I’m especially curious if anyone found something that made them feel:
→ “Okay, I got what I needed, I’m done.”
Would love to learn from you all
